Lotti Tajouri, a biomedical scientist with Bond University, has led a research that found mobile phones to be Trojan horses carrying coronavirus and urged billions of phone users worldwide to sanitise their gadgets daily with either 70% isopropyl or ultraviolet devices like PhoneSoap. The review of 56 studies from 24 countries, all predating the current pandemic, found phones host a staggering cocktail of live germs and suggested the virus responsible for COVID-19 – SARS-CoV-2 – to be probably present on mobile phones and other touch-screen devices of coronavirus sufferers. Tajouri and his team said phones are like people’s third hand that they should clean daily to help curve down the COVID-19 epidemic and save lives.
