Nikola Bowden is an awarding-winning molecular biologist and associate professor at the University of Newcastle. Bowden is currently involved in the Australian Program for Drug-repurposing for Treatment-resistant Ovarian Cancer – a research project that aims to find treatment options for women with treatment-resistant ovarian cancer. Last year, she was recognised as an Emerging Leader at the AFR Higher Education Awards 2019.
