In the last 12 months Ebert has used his business leadership and acumen to lead and develop a PhysioBusiness Work integrated program that is in partnership with two leading Physiotherapy businesses to place all SWIN students in an internship program in industry one day a week in order to be immersed in the business for real-life experience and building of professional skills. He also played an instrumental role in developing two business subjects in the new Physio program in partnership with the School of Business at SWIN to address the current gaps in training students for the private and community sector where 70% will be employed after graduation. These Subjects are now part of career pathway with exit points at a newly developed Postgraduate Certificate in Business Healthcare and the existing MBA at SWIN. Both of these initiatives are national firsts and have been recognised for their leadership in education with an invited keynote address at the national physiotherapy congress in 2019 to talk about the future of Physiotherapy.
