Wang is an Australian early career academic (PhD awarded in 2017) and an tech founder. He has made recognised contribution to the global scientific community in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnology with a total global citation near 1400 (254 in the past 12 month) on his innovative research. Aiming to convert research excellence into real-life impact, Wang founded Neoviews a Brisbane based startup in 2019 which is determined to apply interdisciplinary knowledge and skills across nanotechnologies, biomedical sciences and data sciences to combat healthcare challenges.
