The 2018 Australian Education Awards will be held in Sydney this August, showcasing the finest educators and organisations in the K-12 education space.
The inaugural awards ceremony will see seven awards presented to the leading principals, department heads and teachers of the past 12 months.
The awards dedicated to the top-performing individuals in education are:
Primary School Principal of the Year - Government
Primary School Principal of the Year – Non-government
Principal of the Year - Government
Principal of the Year – Non-government
Department Head of the Year
Teacher of the Year
Education Rising Star of the Year
If you are working alongside someone who fits the criteria for one of these awards, give them the recognition they deserve this year by nominating them for the relevant awards. Self-nominations are also equally as encouraged.
The nomination deadline is Friday 23 March.
