Rebecca Dao a Deputy Principal of Ingleburn Public school. Rebecca has spent over 20 years in education, including more than 16 years in the special education sector. She has worked across state education systems in both mainstream and special education, and has led specialist teams across interstate systems to develop specific professional development opportunities to enhance inclusive practice with an emphasison autism, intellectual impairment, speech language impairment, and the gifted and talented domain.

Ms. Dao is leading change in education through innovation and entrepreneurship to empower learners to be future-focused global citizens. She has presented at several state and national conferences.

Ms. Dao worked alongside Mr. Graeme Green (Ingleburn Public School) and Associate Professor Eva Kimonis (UNSW) to establish the world’s first school-based parent-child interaction therapy clinic at Ingleburn Public School, which has since expanded to service seven additional schools across the region.
In 2018, Ms. Dao was recognised by The Educator National Magazine as one of the top 50 Innovative Educational Leaders in Australia. This award recognised the exceptional work Ms. Dao has done from championing the latest technological innovations to establishing new standards of best practice in Australian education.
