Dale Casburn is an outstanding member of St Paul’s Catholic College dedicated to providing students with career guidance as well as with opportunities to get into the workforce or undertake work experience. He has also made exceptional work in helping teachers develop skills in their subject area.
In the past 12 months, Casburn has developed a new careers platform and program for St Paul's 7-12, expanded VET offerings from three to eight courses, and introduced many new tools and equipment to TAS, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC along with advanced woodworking tools. He has also lent his support to the department working on new TAS syllabuses and developing scopes and sequences across a number of subjects, introduced a trade-based maths programme, and supported new TAS workshop teachers with skill-based professional development and onsite guidance and training.
