Australian Education Awards night sells out

The inaugural Australian Education Awards night has sold out with a month to go to the event.

To be held on Friday 17 August at the Dockside, the gala event will be a night to celebrate the best of the best in the education sector.

“We are pleased with how the awards have been embraced by the sector and extremely proud that we’re able to host an award program of this nature,” says Justin Kennedy, Managing Director of Key Media, publisher of The Educator magazine.

“The caliber of entries has been extraordinary. With this now being a sold out event, we’re looking forward to meeting some of Australia’s leading educators and seeing who will take out the awards on the night.”

The Awards night will be hosted by media personality Tom Williams, and guests will be entertained by the funky tunes of the Gotham City Horns.

The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the winners of 22 awards and the two national Awards – the Australian School of the Year and Australian School Principal of the Year.
