We are pleased to announce the Australian Education Awards are back and ready to raise a glass to the education sector's best and brightest.
The annual Australian Education Awards, brought to you by The Educator, is the leading independent awards event in the K-12 education sector. The awards showcase the top-performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers for their outstanding achievements and transformative work that makes a profound difference to the lives of young people across Australia.
The in-person black-tie gala event, being held Friday 8 August 2025 at the Star Event Centre, will give schools, principals, department heads and teachers the chance to be showcased on a national stage, while celebrating with all the glitz and glamour that they deserve.
The Awards will be recognising educational excellence across 29 categories spanning individual, school, curriculum, and national accolades.
This is the perfect chance to acknowledge educators' outstanding achievements and noble work over an extraordinary year, so we encourage you to nominate your exceptional colleague, school or even yourself.
The online nomination process is straightforward, free and open until 14 March. Excellence awardees will be announced in The Educator and online channels in May.
Winners will be announced and celebrated on Friday 8 August 2025 at the Star Event Centre
