Tonight, the best of what Australia’s education system has to offer was duly celebrated at the Australian Education Awards 2022.
The nation’s top educators were recognised across 28 award categories, including Australian School of the Year, Australian Principal of the Year, Best Professional Learning Program, Best Use of Technology and Best Student Wellbeing Program.
The gala event – sponsored by Education Perfect, A Team Tuition, Grok Academy, Pivot Professional Learning and Reconciliation Australia – was held at the Doltone House in Sydney’s Darling Island and hosted by actress, singer and television personality Natalie Bassingthwaite. Entertaining the 650 guests on the night was Groove Academy – a veteran DJ with a talented collective of Sydney’s finest musicians and vocalists.
"The awards are important recognition of the outstanding work of school teachers and school leaders that is demonstrated on a daily basis,” Ian Pedler, head of ANZ at Education Perfect – The Educator’s event partner, said.
