Revealed: TE Employers of Choice 2026 winners

Great schools are built by great people. While facilities, technology and resources all play an important role, it is educators and support staff who bring them to life and make a lasting difference in students' lives.

The Educator's 5-Star Employers of Choice 2026 – proudly supported by the Australian Boarding Schools Association – celebrates schools that understand this.

These schools are investing in their people, fostering positive workplace cultures and creating environments where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work. While their approaches may differ, they share a common commitment to making their schools exceptional places to work.

To identify the best workplaces in education, The Educator invited schools to outline their staff offerings and workplace practices, while employees completed an anonymous survey assessing areas such as culture, benefits, professional development and inclusion. Schools that met a minimum employee response threshold and achieved an average staff satisfaction rating of 75% or higher were named 5-Star Employers of Choice for 2026.
