The inspirational and tireless work being done by school leaders across Australia cannot be understated, and has provided us with the pleasure of highlighting the change that the principal profession has driven across the education sector.
While not every education story to hit the front pages has been positive, there is far more to celebrate in Australian education than frown upon.
One only needs to look to The Educator’s second annual Australian Education Awards, where more than 600 principals, department heads and teachers gathered at Dockside, Sydney to see the best of what Australian education has to offer.
And the great work of education’s best and brightest will no doubt create more waves in 2020.
In July of this year, some of education’s top thought leaders and principals converged at the Educator Leaders’ Summit 2019 to discuss the challenges associated with Australia’s shifting school and technology landscape, and how educators and students can navigate them heading into the future.
