Nominations now open for Australian Education Awards 2024

After a successful event in 2023, we are pleased to announce the Australian Education Awards are back for a seventh year to raise a glass to the education sector's best and brightest.

The in-person black-tie gala event, being held Friday 9 August 2024, will give schools, principals, department heads and teachers the chance to be showcased on a national stage, while celebrating with all the glitz and glamour that they deserve.

The Awards will be recognising educational excellence across 29 categories, including Best Student Wellbeing Program, Education Rising Star of the Year, and Australian School of the Year.

Partnering with The Educator for the Australian Education Awards 2024 will be Prime Super, an independent profit-to-members superannuation fund providing superannuation and retirement solutions to Australians for over 20 years.

This is the perfect chance to acknowledge educators' outstanding achievements and noble work over an extraordinary year, so we encourage you to nominate your exceptional colleague, school or even yourself.

The online nomination process is straightforward, free and open until 15 March. Excellence awardees will be announced in The Educator and online channels in May.

Winners will be announced and celebrated at the highly anticipated awards gala on Friday 9 August at the Star Event Centre in Sydney.

We look forward to your nominations and celebrating your remarkable achievements!
